Sunday tends to be the heart of the long weekend, with the most festive energy and family‑friendly gatherings happening across The County.
🍻 Parsons x Chef Char (Feb 14 & 15)
A winter stop at Parsons Brewing Company is a Family Day weekend favourite. Over the weekend, the brewery will transform into a lively outdoor hangout — with skating on the ice rink, fires crackling, and a special pop-up with Chef Char and the GetShuckd team adding something extra to the experience. Expect wood-fired oysters with a creamy lobster sauce, cups of perfect clam chowder, and a raclette station, making it an easy place to spend a few cozy hours soaking up the season with friends or family.

A family‑oriented afternoon, from 1PM to 3PM, embracing winter fun:
- Therapy goats and bunnies from Heal with Horses (1–2:30 PM)

If you’re looking for something immersive and a little different, Escape Camp Picton offers a memorable indoor experience that works well for mixed‑age groups (and unpredictable winter weather!). Throughout the long weekend, dive into history with Escape Camp Picton, located at Base 31 – a historic WWII Air Force Training Base.
Choose from two indoor escape rooms inspired by World War II:
- The Spy’s Workshop (up to 5 players)
- The Secret Guild (up to 10 players)
As part of Flashback February, guests will also get to experience a mini exhibit on daily life during WWII — including food rations, victory gardens, and a taste of traditional wartime cake.
