Cancellation Policy

Accommodations

Any cancellation or change of dates made by the Renter must be provided in writing via email.

Cancellations

For homes with 1 to 5 bedrooms

For full refund, guests must cancel in writing no later than 12:00 PM Eastern 30 days prior to check-in. 
Cancellation between 7 and 30 days, guests receive 50% refund of reservation total. 
Cancellation fewer than 7 days, no refund will be given of any monies paid to Sandbanks Vacations.
Refunds may take more than 14 business days to receive and is unfortunately beyond our control.   
No changes of dates or property are possible within 30 days of arrival.  

If governmental restrictions are in place, a full refund is provided. It may take up 30+ business days to receive a refund.

 For homes with 6+ Bedrooms

For full refund, guests must cancel in writing no later than 12:00 PM Eastern 60 days prior to check-in.
Cancellation between 30 and 60 days, guests receive 50% refund of reservation total. 
Cancellation fewer than 30 days, no refund will be given of any monies paid to Sandbanks Vacations.
Refunds may take more than 14 business days to receive and is unfortunately beyond our control.   
No changes of dates or property are possible within 60 days of arrival.

If governmental restrictions are in place, a full refund is provided. It may take up 30+ business days to receive a refund.

Tours

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

We require a 50% deposit of the total tour cost to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to your tour date.  If your tour is scheduled 30 days or less from the time of booking the entire amount is due at time of booking.  

Groups must book together with one form of payment to guarantee they will be placed on a tour together. Individual payments for groups are not accepted.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Debit Credit for payment. EFT/EMT’s are not accepted for tour payments.

CANCELLATION & CHANGES TO TOUR

Final balances for bookings are due one (1) week prior to the scheduled tour date.

Payments for tours or shuttle services cancelled seven (7) or more days from the scheduled tour date are fully refundable.

Payments for tours or shuttle services cancelled within three (3) to seven (7) days of the scheduled tour date are subject to a 50% cancellation penalty of the full amount paid.

Payments for tours or shuttle services cancelled within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled date are non-refundable.

If the number of guests decreases from the date of booking up until three (3) to seven (7) days of the scheduled date, you are subject to a 50% refund of the individual price paid.

If the number of guests changes from the original booking date within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled date the payments are non-refundable.

We understand it is hard to plan months ahead of schedule, however if we have to make excessive changes (3 or more times) to your booking, you may be subject to a $50+HST administration fee. 

Tours require a minimum of 2 guests to run.

Change of Date Policy: If fourteen (14) days or more notice is given, a tour date can be changed depending on availability.
