Today we had a wine tour with four stops with Corinne. She was a engaging, punctual, and knowledgeable. She shared information about not just the wineries but the best spots in the area. Would definitely recommend her to anyone touring the area!!

Along with 2 other couples, we booked our accommodations & wine tour (The County Wine Essentials Tour - private tour) through Sandbanks Tours . Our tour guide Dave, picked up the 6 of us at our accommodations in Wellington and took us on a tour of 4 local wineries in western Prince Edward County. Dave was very friendly & knowledgeable, informing us about the region's soils, grapes & wines. The tasting at our first winery was in an exterior, unheated gazebo. The tastings at the other 3 wineries were all indoors, in a comfortable& cozy setting. At our 2nd stop, we were treated to food pairings with our wines. What a difference that makes! You hear about how certain foods go with different wines & don't realize how true that can be. Kudos to the winery booking staff at Sandbanks Tours - the 4 wineries we visited were unique in their own way. The staff at each winery expected us, & were more than happy to share their expertise. Thanks again Dave, for making our wine tasting a memorable experience!

I have not visited Pickton in almost 45 years so it’s quite an enjoyment going back to the visit. We decided to go on the Saturday for the wine tour. Our tour operator was fantastic. Took us to a high-end winery first. Then the other three were just businesses that were starting out. I can tell you I have been to Niagara for their wine tours, but going to people that are just starting or have been going for a couple of years was more enjoyable than the Niagara tours I’ve been on. I highly recommend if you do want to do something you should just call Sandbanks Tours and let them take you for an enjoyable day.
