Public Skating at the Wellington Arena
Nothing spells winter like “ice rink”. Great way to connect with the local community and with family and friends. Hot Chocolate, fries… make sure the canteen is going to be open before making dinner plans there 😉 If it’s not, you can always try the Duke of Wellington Restaurant at the end of Belleville Street on the water.
If you don’t make it to the Wellington Arena for the free skate on Saturday night, try Picton from 1-3 on Sundays.
Cross-country Skiing at Sandbanks
10 kms of groomed trails await you at Sandbanks Provincial Park. Park in the free parking lot next to Dunes beach and head into the woods. Ski all the way to Lake Ontario! Click Prince Edward County ski trails for more info!
