We had scheduled a tour of the local wineries with Sandbanks Vacations and Tours, this was the first time we have booked with them, and we are looking forward to our next occasion where we can book again. This company was a pleasure to work with, from setting up the dates, to them being able to accommodate the change in the date of our visit. Our tour guides name was John. John was friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable of not only the different wineries, but of the growers themselves, their history of starting their wineries, and the particular varietals each of these wineries produce, and why they chose the particular grapes. John also shared his knowledge and the history of the County. As we traveled between the wineries John was always checking to see if we (and the other couple on the tour) were still comfortable in continuing, as the weather was not cooperative, and our safety was his first priority. My wife and I had a fantastic day, and we owe that experience to John and the Sandbanks Vacations & Tours.

My kids, their partners (young adults) and I had a great afternoon wine tour with Larry. There are some safety precautions this year due to the pandemic, such as wearing masks on the minibus, but it was just as enjoyable an experience as ever. Ask for tour guide Larry as he has an in-depth knowledge of all the wineries, ranging from their origins and current owners to the types of grapes they grow, which wineries produce what types of wine, where to get the best meals and snacks etc. He is also great at finding excellent locations to capture memorable photos. Highly recommended!
