So grab your masks, hand sanitizer, and Lysol wipes and enjoy these family friendly activities in Prince Edward County throughout November and December.
PEC Festival of Trees
This annual event looks a little different this year, but there is still a lot of fun to be had! From November 12th to 29th, you can enjoy the 3 familiar hallmarks of this festival: The Silent Auction, the Christmas Boutique, and the Festival Food Sale.
Unlike past years, the silent auction will be online this year. You can still bid on beautiful trees and other items that are donated by local businesses and individuals, you will simply place your bids online rather than in-person. Find more details on how this will work here.
The Christmas Boutique will still take place in-person. It will be set up at the Auxiliary Second Time Around Store on November 28 and 29, from 10am-3pm. You’ll be able to shop a variety of Christmas decorations, gift items, linens, books, home décor, jewellery, and more.
The Festival Food Sale will feature pies, tarts, fruitcake, and shortbread. You can order ahead on the PEC Festival of Trees website here. This is recommended, though a few “walk-ins” will be available too. You can pick up and pay for your baked goods at the Picton Hospital Auxiliary Office on November 27th (4-7pm) or November 28th and 29th (10am-3pm).
